7 KHOON MAAF, Vishal Bhardwaj’s most awaited movie is all set to hit the screens on 18th February 2011. This upcoming Hindi drama, thriller and black comedy is presented by UTV Motion Pictures.Based on Ruskin Bond’s short story, Susanna’s Seven Husbands, 7 KHOON MAAF features Priyanka Chopra in a negative role again after AITRAAZ. The film has seven heroes- Naseeruddin Shah, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, John Abraham, Annu Kapoor, Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko and Naseeruddin’s youngest son Vivaan Shah that revolves around the romantic misadventures of an Anglo-Indian woman Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, a beautiful lass who goes on to kill all her seven husbands. The music of the film is given by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics are penned by Gulzar.

Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, a beautiful lass who over the course of thirty-five odd years, gets married seven times due to the untimely and mysterious deaths of half a dozen of her hapless husbands. Neil Nitin Mukesh: Edwin Rodriques
A young and beautiful Susanna falls in love with The Major, who’s oh-so-dashing in his uniform. Yes, he’s a bit too old for her, and he likes giving orders. But love is blind.

John Abraham: Jimmy Stetson
Soon thereafter – very soon – Susanna decides to marry Jimmy, whose good looks and musical talent sweep her off her feet. She invests in him, but she has no idea what lies in store.

As a romantic soul. Susanna is susceptible to beautiful poetry. Hence it is that she discovers and marries Wasiullah Khan A.k.a Musafir, by day a gentle poet and by night… something else.

Growing older but no wiser. Susanna next marries a Mr. Vronsky from Moscow and almost re-enacts her very own Anna Karenina love story.

Anu Kapoor: Keemat Lal
All these dead husbands! The police take an interest, especially Officer Keemat Lal, who is helpful to the extreme. He not only persuades Susanna to marry him, he makes it impossible for her to say no.

Naseruddin Shah: Modhusudhon Tarafdar
By now our Susanna is suffering from melancholy, not to mention indigestion. Along comes her savior, Dr. Modhusudhon Tarafdar with a healthy answer to both problems: a strict mushroom diet.

Some bullets kill you, some save your life; sometimes love can kill you and sometimes it can save your life. Arun (Irrfan Khan) has to save Priti (Chitrangda Singh) the woman he loves, but for that he first has to save the man Priti loves Shyam, the future son in law of a powerful Minister. Meanwhile, time is running out for Kuldeep (Arunoday Singh), the young gangster who is on his last job as his wife is threatening to walk out on him completely, and he begins to suspect she is leaving him to go into the arms of another man. The job has gone haywire for it is still unknown to Kuldeep that the Ministers daughter's engagement with Shyam is off and now she doesn't care whether Shyam lives or dies and more importantly neither does the Minister who Kuldeep hoped would pay the ransom! Priti finds herself inextricably caught in this mess and Arun has to save her life. But for that he has to risk everything, and put his own life at stake, he wonders why he should do it at all, if she still loves another man. He's torn, but love knows no reason. Meanwhile Shyam is trying to make deals in captivity, and his goodness only seems superficial and as Kuldeep tries desperately to save his situation, there are dons coming from Bangkok, who have their own plans. The film rides a roller coaster towards a shattering climax, where all the players have to fend for their lives and loves. Who gets the girl, and who gets the money, and who escapes by the skin of his teeth, is now anybody's guess. But hold on, there are still jokers in the pack, and aces up some sleeves. Expect the unexpected!
