Captain America Superbowl Movie Trailer

Captain America Superbowl Movie Trailer

Okay, so it’s not as terrible on second and third viewing as I was afraid it might be – but the editing feels sloppy and the few shots of Cap in action there are feel a little cheesy.

That said, there are a number of bright spots in the trailer, from the reveal of Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull –

- to the impressive-looking before and after shots of Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.

Also, there’s Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter, who looks like a no-nonsense lady.

Finally, in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-them moment are a bunch of characters looking a bit familiar:

That looks an awful lot like some Howling Commandos, sans leader Nick Fury – although apparently Sam Jackson’s doing reshoots at the moment, so you never know…

What Channel Is the Superbowl on in 2011

What Channel Superbowl on in 2011? Don’t Miss It!

It’s only fair that different networks get to air the Super Bowl, since it’s such a huge event. So, what channel is the Super Bowl on in 2011?

This year, it’s Fox that gets the honors. The Super Bowl kickoff at 6:25pm ET, the big game between the Steelers and the Packers, the commercials, the half-time show: most of us will be tuning in to Fox at some point this evening, if you aren’t already watching all the pregame shows that are already on.

Another bonus to being the channel that the Superbowl is on?

Fox knows it already has a huge audience from the Super Bowl. So, right after the Superbowl, a new episode of Glee will air.

The network that has the Super Bowl for the year gets to take advantage of that audience and can air a show that they want to hook more people on. This year, it’s Fox’s Glee. I remember a year when CBS had the Super Bowl and they aired the first episode of a new season of Survivor, back when Survivor was still a new show.

Will you be tuning in to the Super Bowl 2011 tonight?
