Britney Forced To Change Name of New Single

Britney is now having to rename one of her singles from her latest album, Circus. The song is called If You Seek Amy. However, the title actually means something much much dirtier.

Say the song title very, very slowly!

One of the lines in the song goes, “All the boys and the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy.”

After realizing the real meaning of the song, several US radio stations have threatened to ban the single.

So, in an attempt to secure radio play for the song, Britney's camp has decided to change it up. But, rather than re-write the lyrics they've opted to only drop the "k" from seek.

It will now be called If You See Amy.

The Mirror claims Britney has fallen in love with Bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar who coragraphed her "Womanizer" video.

Apparently, the two met earlier this year at one of Vadge's parties. They reunited when Sandip worked on Brit's video and that's when true love was born. They somehow found a way to spend Christmas in India together.

A source said, “Britney and Sandip tried to keep their reunion in India hush-hush as they’re determined to have a relationship just like any other couple. For Christmas, Sandip – or Sandy as Britney calls him – presented her with a traditional Indian sari. She wore it during a candlelit dinner. The pair were whispering and giggling all night. Sandy ordered local delicacies including chicken tikka and a cottage cheese curry. Britney was nicking the dough balls from his plate. It was really cute.”

The 27-year-old pop princess is set to fly to India for a two-day practice session with choreographer Sandip Soparrkar for the new video of her hit track “Womanizer”. Britney will reshoot the video of the hit single from her latest album “Circus” after the song’s first video leaked on the Internet.

“I’ll be meeting her for work only, when she visits Jodhpur”, Sandip said. “We’ll just be doing a bit of rehearsals, since I am planning to do the rumba, which is the dance of love. Britney is really looking forward to coming to India. She’s heard a lot about it and what tops her list here is trying out the spicy Indian curry.”

Sales figures already indicate that Brit's about to score her fifth chart-topping album next week.

Perhaps Britney Spears' ultimate birthday present will be seeing her "comeback" album Circus—which was released on Tuesday, the day the singer turned 27—debut atop the Billboard album chart next week.

The publication notes that Spears' sixth album sold about 330,000 copies by Thursday, and is well on track to top the new chart when it's announced next Wednesday. The final sales tallying will be done by the music industry magazine on Monday night.

Calling out the elitism of music fans who look down on commercially successful music as "necessarily bullsh*t," the 31-year-old opined to Australia's Sydney Morning Herald: "Look at all those indie guitar bands who look down on pop music. My question to them is: 'Do you not want a song of yours to explode and be heard by everyone?' Look at Britney Spears and how people talk about her...if you don't like Britney Spears, then you're just wrong."

Britney Spears’s “Circus” music video has leaked!!!!! Quick, watch it before it’s taken down!!!!!

The vid, the second one off of her album of the same name, was supposed to world premiere on Friday. It was directed by Francis Lawrence, who also did Brit’s mega-hit “I’m A Slave 4 U” as well as the 2007 film I Am Legend.

It gets pretty steamy when Brit strips down to some nude-colored clothing!

Britney Starstruck By Simon Cowell....

Britney Spears was "in awe" of Simon Cowell when she met him on 'The X Factor'.
Simon - who was photographed with Britney and his fellow judges Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole after performing her hit track 'Womanizer' on the British TV talent show on Saturday (29.11.08) - claims the 27-year-old star was stunned when she met him.
He said: "This may be a bit egotistical, but I think she was in awe of me. She was just staring at me. I said, 'Touch me, I'm human', and I think that broke the ice."

Despite Britney being criticised for miming on the programme, Simon insists the audience were wowed by her performance.

He added to US radio host Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show: "There was more buzz, more excitement, for this girl than anyone else. It was as if the president was on the show. I love it. I think if you are going to be a star, be a star.
"She was terrific. Very professional. This girl has got huge star quality. You have got to hand it to her. She's a great performer. I would literally have her on my show every week for the next 10 years."

BritneySpears.com has exclusively announced that Britney Spears , 27 as of today, will appear on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show on Thursday.

She appeared live on Good Morning America this morning in an episode entirely dedicated to her birthday and the release of her new album, Circus.

She also had her documentary, Britney Spears: For The Record, premiere on MTV on Sunday night.

Britney's X-Factor Performance

For her first live UK television performance in over four years, the back-in-the-groove pop princess performed her hit single “Womanizer,” while the five remaining X-Factor competitors gave their own renditions of Britney classics.

And there was still the question of: was she miming?
Those fans able to look past the skimpy PVC hotpants and fishnet stockings were left wondering whether the long-awaited performance was all that it seemed.

The pop princess' energetic dance routine did not seem to interrupt her vocals - which seemed near perfect.

This was despite apparent problems with her microphone, which she touched several times during the three-minute performance.

A spokeswoman for the X Factor production company insisted Britney had been singing, telling MailOnline: 'There were some live vocals, but that's a question for the record company.

As she bounced up and down Louis broke into a large smile, perhaps appreciating the novelty of his front-row view of Britney's butt.

After her performance a grinning Britney told presenter Dermot that appearing on the X Factor was 'awesome' and 'amazing'.

'I love being here in London,' she gushed.

Unlike guest stars Take That and Mariah Carey, Britney did not mentor the contestants ahead of last night's show.

The 26-year-old headed to reprise her “Womanizer” routine on the top-rated Star Academy, France’s version of American Idol. Brit will then head off to perform on Simon Cowell’s hit X Factor.

On Tuesday, Ms. Spears will be back in the States to celebrate her 27th birthday and the release of her her new album, Circus. She’s celebrate with an appearance on Good Morning America.

Britney Diets for X Factor?

Britney Spears is on a crash diet ahead of her performance on The X Factor, and is hoping to shift half a stone, according to reports.

The pop singer has already lost two stone since her public meltdown, but wants to be super-slim before the show this weekend, according to the Daily Star.

Britney, 26, was pictured at Los Angeles airport yesterday, about to board a flight to the UK.

The mother-of-two is a close friend of X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman, who was behind the dance moves for some of her biggest hits.

A source told the paper: "She goes to bed hungry and is dieting so hard she's suffering from insomnia, anxiety, flushes and shakes.

"Her father and the people around her are trying to get her to eat more, but Britney is determined not to be criticised for having any extra bulk."

On her two sons Sean and Jayden: “Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they’re such special people… [But they] are starting to learn words like ’stupid,’ and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn’t get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids.”
