Mean Girls 2 Video

Mean Girls 2 – Do We Really Need a Sequel to the Pefect High School Flick? (Video)

Mean Girls was a one-of-a-kind movie that happened at just the right time with just the right cast. With the brilliant writing of Tina Fey with the talent of young stars Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried, Mean Girls captured the spirit of high school clicks perfectly.

Tonight ABC Family is debuting the straight-to-cable sequel Mean Girls 2 which brings the plastics into a new decade. It begs the question of whether we really need a sequel to the perfect teenage click movie?

To be entirely honest, Mean Girls itself was a bit of a sequel. It followed in the footsteps of Heathers and Pretty In Pink in capturing the social hierarchy of teenage angst. It’s one of those movies that was better left alone. Mean Girls 2 only serves to cheapen the message of the original that taught the world that everyone has a bit of a Mean Girl in their heart. It is what we do with power within ourselves to follow our own paths.

Catch a sneak peak of Mean Girls below….

Pat Barry Vs Joey Beltran

UFC Fight For The Troops 2' Fight Card Preview: Pat Barry Vs Joey Beltran

Joey Beltran vs Pat Barry

I enjoy Pat Barry as much as our semi-progressive society allows, but he's not the world beater so many have made him out to be. Anyone who argues that should push back from the keyboard, find the nearest mirror, and take a long, hard look. Everyone seems to think all Barry needs to do to win this thing is wait for the octagon door to close, but I'm not so sure. His 'fight' with Mirko Cro Cop was an embarrassment. For him to lose that fight will forever make me question his ability to fully transition into MMA. And remember when he was choked out by Tim Hague? What was that about?

This fight isn't about Joey Beltran, it's about Barry's focus and not letting himself be submitted by another underwhelming heavyweight. If he can do that I think he takes this fight. To me, this is make or break for Barry.

Matt Mitrione Demolishes Tim Hague

UFC Fight for the Troops 2 Results - Matt Mitrione Demolishes Tim Hague

Matt Mitrione has improved every time he has stepped into the UFC cage and tonight was no different as he had no trouble stopping Tim Hague in the first round. Hague had a few moments where he landed leg kicks but Mitrione did the same in addition to landing heavy punches. Eventually Hague crumbled under the heavy punches of Mitrione and flopped to his back, covering up and offering no offense. Mitrione landed a few more shots before the ref had to step in and stop the bout.

Mitrione will need to continue to evolve but has a shot at becoming a legitimate contender in the heavyweight division.
