In that case I apologize. But of late there has been a spate of such suspicious activity. Look at the number of new threads opened about people being sent back by accounts with only 1 post. Looks at the pointless argument going over between messers snram4 and u.misc. Check their history and make up your own mind. I cannot imagine someone with any semblance of maturity could engage in just hideously low level argument. So obviously there is an agenda at work. To each is own . But please, its funny only if your audience finds it funny and there is nothing funny about the Feb visa bulletin no matter which part of the world you are from.
I only recently discovered IV and use to just read posts on Murthy earlier. It seems like some of the imbeciles from Murthy may have made their way here. There is so much nonsensical and agenda based talk on Murthy its not funny. And most galling is the fact that two of my posts that contained strong arguments against certain **famous** posters were not published!! They allow posts with name calling and rude language, but not with strong rebuttals against certain schools of thought.

I am planning a family trip to Mexico for few days and would like to get some suggestion or personal experience on how to re-enter to United States. Here is my situation:
Wife has a valid H4 stamp in her passport which is good for another year. We also applied for travel document after we filed for I-485 but she has never used that travel document. Now the question is what do we use for her, H4 or travel doc, when we re-enter US from Mexico? I can't think of any reason why she shouldn't be able to use her H4 to re-enter but the fact that she also has a travel document, will the officer require her to use travel doc and enter and parole. In that case, does she lose her H4 status and just become a parole or should she not even show the travel doc and just the H4.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Moved residence couple of weeks back. Changed address online for my 485 case and added for spouse and child as weel?
Is it ok to continue and add spouse and child cases for address change along with my case or do i need to start from scratch with their A numbers? Any idea.
It should be new procedure for each person.

I had asked this question to the immigration lawyer at IV. She said that if you are working for the same company at their offices aboard & go for Consular Processing ( it is the only option as you can not go 485 route) it should be just fine. However, if the company that you are working for when you are abroad and the company that did your GC are not the same thenit is almost impossible to prove that the job exists when you arrive in USA after CP.

Hi
I was also tested possitive due to vaccination in India. did the skin test and X-ray. I talked to my family Dr.(and couple of my Dr. Freinds.) and they all told me that my body will allways react to this test due to vaccination and if X-ray is fine we do not need any medication. In US all the Dr. has to get the test once a year and those vaccinated in their native country has to get an X-ray to confirm it as the test is allways possitive for them.
I would say Consult another Dr. just to be sure.

You time on EAD will also be counted unless the H1 is cancelled when you start using the EAD.
Here is a situation....
Assuming you are on H1 and have completed 2 years.. And would like to use your EAD.. After using your EAD for one year if you want to come back to H1 - it is possible. - If your employer has cancelled your H1 when you started using the EAD you will have remaining 4 years.. But if he has not cancelled then your time on H1 will continue to be counted along with EAD and you will have only 3 years remaining on the H1.

For the status question, your wife doesn't need EAD. Pending I-485 or AOS is a valid status to stay in the US. That said, some states like CA doesn't take I-485 receipt notice as a valid document for issuing license. They asked for EAD. So if your wife needs to drive she may have to get EAD.
For your second question, I assume the PD is still current. If thats the case, I would suggest taking infopass and find out the status. If you didn't get any satisfactory info, contact your senator/congressperson , ombudsman, open an SR etc. Don't sit idle waiting for USCIS to act.

For instance, when I called in, the representative refused to open an SR because it's not 90 days since our last appointment. Infopass is taken through the USCIS web site, right? As per the information I received yesterday afternoon, IV's fax provider had already sent about 21,000 faxes and another 17,000+ were in the queue waiting to be sent. I just hope the fax provider's computer/fax machine does not overheat and burn :D
About 385 people had already clicked for sending faxes. This means that each senator will get atleast 385 faxes from IV. Not bad at all.
At the same time it just means that less than 30% of the members faxed.
The rest of the members of IV, what would make you guys participate in such activities in future? Is clicking the mouse 4 times that difficult? We really need to know what will spur you guys to do something FOR YOURSELF? Will you move only if you are told by the government to pack your bags?
Please let us know what we can do to get you involved?

I am a july 3 filer . I saw that there is on LUD with date of 11/25/2007 on my 140 which was approved on Jan 8,2007. My 485, EAD are still pending at NSC.
