Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have signed all the forms and included all the documents. Wrote a cover letter listing all the documents in the packet(like Affidavits, W2's, Passport copy etc.), but in a hurry forgot to sign the cover letter.

Could you please share how you filed SR, my h1 extn is pending for 92 days.
You need to ask the person, who filed the extension to call USCIS Number and the representative will open SR for you if you are eligible, i.e. Your receipt date is less than Processing Dates by 60 days. Only employer can call for opening SR.

Generally it is little difficult to sponsor a GC through one's own business. USCIS wants to know if it is a legitimate business, with revenues, employees, contracts etc

I am confused by why the priority dates for EB2 is worse than EB3. Could someone explain?
It's because of retrogression. Example....
Case 1:
John applied in EB3 in 2002, had his labor/140 cleared.
John changed companies in 2005, now was eligible for EB2. Used older priority date.
Now John has 2002 PD in EB2.
Case 2:
BEC labors coming through.
Case 3:
Non-RIR cases getting approved (note that non-RIR labor takes a long time, ~4-5 yrs)
Whether to choose EB-2 or EB-3 is hard.
Fresh blood coming on H1 will typically be EB3. But by the time their visa numbers
become available, they might move to EB2. Or maybe they won't if EB2 worsens. Right
now I think it's a fair game between the 2 categories (IMHO).
If 140 premium starts again, then it might get crazy. Apply for new PERM (choose the least retrogressed category), apply for 140.....all in 5-6 months. Now port your PD from
whatever earlier 140 you had.
I don't think there is a rule that once you have a Labor/140 cleared from EB2, you can't
apply for a fresh labor for EB3 :-)

I think you misunderstood a point made there. Though it is possible to extend renew H1 for employer if EAD was used some time, but that is like recapturing that status and means fulfilling the terms of H1, by giving up on part time job.
You cannot be on H1 and use EAD for second job at the same time.

I had a question: My and my wife's 485 ND is august 27 from TSC. We haven't got any FP notice yet.
Is anyone in a similar situation? data indicates that most of the august notice dates applicants have already got their FP appointments. I am from NJ so newark must be my ASC.
Should I call USCIS or wait?
Any suggestions are welcomed...

Most of the Nationalised bank ( SBI, PNB ) do not charge Pre-payment penalty. Though it clearly mentioned in their policy , you should check while taking the loan. It is negotiated also. I have IDBI loan with facility of no pre-payment penalty.
Tell your banker not to extend the tenure of Loan when they increase the loan percentage. As they keep your EMI same but they change the tenure. That makes you nervous when you want to payoff your loan minus 13 months.

Forgot/didn't know about A# mentioned on my I-140 approval and did not mention it on I-485 application/EAD/AP. will it be an issue??
If it is mentioned in I-140 approval, do we supposed to write in I-485 and other applications? As I understand, A# is registration # and which is assigned when I-485 is accepted? Please somebody confirm it.

Got approval emails on August 14th, received approval notice by mail on August 20th, and finally got the physical green cards by mail today.:)

I am planning to book tickets for my parents travelling from India to US and returning back to India after 2 months. I have some questions:
1) Is it necessary to book tickets in India?
2) If not, Can I book tickets through orbitz or expedia in the US and send them the e-tickets?

I preferred to pay in USD over INR due to the fact that visa/ mastercard charge a 1% transaction fee for international currency and my bank would have screwed me on the exchange rate.

It is my observation that when we do Google search for a topic on immigration, if our search words match with the titles of our posts in any thread, the serach shows our threads. I observed this with my "AC21 Update" post. Now when I do Google search on words "AC21 Update" the first result displayed is my thread. :)
That means if we cleverly design our thread titles, our threads would be displayed in many Google searches. If this is the observation of all members, would all of you be careful to attach a smart title to your thread? Can all the members be made aware of this fact?
May be I am repeating something that is already discussed, but still.........

I am not sure if every state allows this but I know this is true for California. There are different reasons for taking this leave. If you had a baby - For a mother, it is 12 weeks, partially paid by the state and for a father it is 6 weeks partially paid by the state.
If you have worked with your employer for atleast a year, you can also avail FMLA leave for 12 weeks (unpaid) without any issue. All the employers with 50 employess or more are supposed to follow this law.

IV guys have don e great job & the strato is good. My suggestion for fund genenration.... Send one mass mail every month & ask for a small amount of cheque. Let us see how many of us send a small cheques of say $20. We should collect $20K in one shot.
