It's just like what happened to Music. Even if it takes off on the iTunes Store, I dont think that the sales of DVDs will be affected very much. So I dont see what the deal would be. Unless its a union
I meant union as in Wal Mart fears its employees forming a workers union...nothing to do with movies or Apple.

Well, MMS wasn't available anywhere else in any other market worldwide on the iPhone until 3.0 came out, so no, I don't think it had anything to do with AT&T. That was just a case of Apple trying to tell everyone what makes an advanced mobile device.
Many phones here in Australia already had the ability to tether and indeed use programs like Skype over 3g.
It wasn't until people in other parts of the world got annoyed that people got features that AT&T Crippled. So yes. Indeed, I do blamed AT&T for the lack of Voip on 3G, Slow implementation of MMS and the ability to not teether until recently.

BS. 3G was fully matured at the time of release of the first Iphone. It had been commercially adopted for over 5 years at that point in time.
Yeah, and battery life was horrible.

However, the suggestion that Blacks can somehow gain equality with Whites just by "getting their act together" is totally fallacious.
Is it that easy? I don't think so. Getting their attitude together might be closer.
If their parents are all about denigrating the "system", or the "man", what hope do Black youth have? None.
You can pretty much be anything you want to be, in today's Western culture. But you have to work for it, like everyone else. There is no free ride, just welfare.
Black roll models are everywhere, for Christ's sake. Just apply yourself.

While the actual recall site, https://support.apple.com/ibook_powerbook/batteryexchange/ (which is linked from the FAQ site) quotes:

I expect the dust will settle, eventually.
This is the one that worked for me.

UK store is up :)
Black or White C2D?
The black one is only £20 cheaper than same spec white one if you upgrade it to 120gb HD.
Which colour to get?

Back on topic...
I don't know why people are going on and on about the $400 price for Windows Vista Ultimate version. That's a retail price, just like the $300 retail price for windows XP. Only an idiot would buy a retail version of windows when you can get the same full install (not an upgrade) oem version for a fraction of that price.
A retail version of Windows XP professional SP2 is $300 at compUSA and the OEM of XP pro SP2 is $130 at my local PC parts store.
Retail pricing isn't even worth discussing unless Microsoft decides to end oem sales of windows.
Of course, that also assumes that the average person walking into a major retailer would or could know that little bit of info.
Personally, I have no plans whatsoever to buy Vista. I'm not a gamer, I neither develop in or have a need to use apps built in VB or MSAccess. I no longer work for Sony supporting PCs running Windows, and so frankly I have no need for anything other than a Mac.
And frankly if I ever decided to get into gaming (not impossible, but highly doubtful) I'd probably just get a gaming console and hook it up to my LCD panel.

 It's about time Apple did something about these MB's. I work for IT and I've had atleast 5 reports of random shutting down (and then failing to go past the gray screen after start up). EDIT: the past fortnight
I wouldn't go near these machines if I was in the market for a portable...

Installed it on my PC:
The iTunes application could not be opened. An unkown error occurred (0x666D743f)
Huzzah!
Same error here, reboot fixed it. Funny, it told me I had to reboot on my laptop, but not on my desktop. Anxious to see it on the iMac when I get home.

found a hidden page to link to the locations with ipads for radio shack...

Nice find!! And, as I suspected, places that I know don't have a Best Buy are on here. Good job Apple marketing!

Has anyone else noticed that Sony is a horrible, horrible company?
Ridiculous proprietary formats. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony#Proprietary_formats)
Offensive ad campaigns. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony#Advertisements)
Rootkits in their cd's. (http://news.com.com/Sonys+rootkit+fiasco/2009-1029_3-5961248.html)
Blueray outrageous copy protection.
Now exploding batteries?
If I can help it, I will never knowingly buy a Sony product again.

I really like this one. I love the use of b&w with its high contrast. My eye starts on the front left pillar, then is pulled to the right column along the shaft of light on the ground to the bright side of the right column, then the contrast pulls me to the dark side, which then pulls to the bright side of the back left pillar and eventually leads to the perfectly lit Washington Monument. Where were you standing? Lincoln Memorial? This is of course assuming that I am correct in guessing thats DC and not some other monument somewhere in the world.

The best thing about this release is that now they will probably come out with a release for cs5 fixing all the bugs! They normally save the "golden master" till just after they released the next version...

. Now I can hear my favorite Tony Orlando song from when I was 5 juxtaposed with a couple Journey tunes from high school, immediately followed by the new Beck CD, all while I make dinner or cut the lawn.
The iPod has helped to bring music back into my life in a really meaningful way.
Tony Orlando!!????
