"Bugs". That's so funny. Like it wasn't something indented by Big Brother, make that Apple. We truly do have a new evil empire now.
I presume you have hard proof of this unfounded claim I hope.

Hey guys quick question:
Is it possible to plug an Xbox 360 into one of the Apple displays? I'm looking into getting the 20inch at the new reduced price.
Thanks for your help!

I think this is fantastic news and can't wait to try Aperture 1.5. The only thing I don't like about Capture One is the lack of integration with iLife.

Glad to see an update but I wish they made it a little more professional over now becoming a consumer product....but a free upgrade is always nice.

1. Steve Jobs will announce an "official" Apple Rumors blog, then sue himself for breach of contract.
2. The edditors of MacRumors.com will lurn to check theire posts for speling and grammor errors before poosting.
3. A retired Bill Gates will join the Apple board, bringing with him the much needed stale and unoriginal perspective on software Apple needs to finally break into the corporate sector.
4. Free ham with every purchase of an iPod Touch.
5. Someone will post something in this forum that isn't pure uneducated speculation, self-righteous nonsense, or pseudo-insider gobbledeegook.
Tanj in torment, that made me laugh! Sues himself, BAH! And the Gates thing wouldn't be bad at all. It would be the ULTIMATE ADMITTANCE OF APPLE'S SUPERIORITY.

You have hundreds of phone choices.
I doubt the legislation would make people happier. Most of you would find something else to complain about (e.g. price, features).
Um...Competition will only make things better in a Capitalist market.

Well I find it funny that people are actually defending something Apple admitted to being a bug. Intentional or not - Location Services was supposed to be user selectable.
That's no conspiracy theory. It's a simple concept that doesn't need Apple to educate anyone on. Even toddlers grasp the concept of on and off.
I also, personally, don't like being talked down to by Jobs/Apple whenever they have a press conference. The whole angle of "oh.. it's our fault for not educating the consumer" is PR crap and deflection.
"It Just Works".... unless it's the location services switch. Whoops ;)

Just spoken to the Apple Store in the UK (hosted in Ireland I guess from the accent!).
Apple haven't confirmed but they strongly suspect their will be similar discounts to those offered in the US.
Guess I'll have to be patient and order in Friday!

Don't get your hopes up too high, since the iPod's screen is the same resolution as the Zune, it has better battery than the Zune and its thinner than the Zune.
A bigger screen than the iPod's would be preferable, even without an increase in pixel count. A 320x240 video on my iMac display is far easier on the eyes than a 320x240 video on my iPod when both are set to the same brightness. Why? Because the iPod display is too damn small for long-term comfortable viewing.

what theme is that for your lockscreen .. looks great
typophone 4 and typophone weather
It works well with the current jb 4.3.1 since there is little black bar that shows up on lockscreen wallpapers that are not plain black.

You'd expect Jobs would have some sympathy for the guy, what with his phreaking days before Apple.
I had a roommate in college that had an actual Jobs/Wozniak-built blue box. It was about 10 years old at the time, but still worked fine.

(edit) In case anyone thinks I have said anything mean about FP's wife, keep in mind the only thing I know about her is that she's a teacher in a union.
And the fact that she married 5P. ;)

The iOS scrollbars ALWAYS looked that way to me. Dunno why. XD
I kinda liked the 'old' switch look to the tab selection, but that's just me.
Seriously though, no changes to Spaces...? :/

True on the economies of scale bit - although the batteries are always going to be pricey.
I keep hammering the same point here, but the Volt would see a quite significant fuel economy boost by switching to a diesel engine to charge the batteries and run the motors. Sort it out, US car companies...it's not like we don't sell diesel here.
That is true. I'm surprised nobody has brought even diesel based hybrids here yet. I recall hearing VW was planning on it, but I don't remember where I read that.

All except for a few itsy bitsy tiny details.
A: Apple didn't create the event, It is a photography event put on by someone else.
Not to mention, it is a photography event that happens once every two years, which means this is Aperture's first time available during Photokina!

Yes you do. It's called "don't sign the contract" Take it or leave it approaches are quite common in the world of contracts.
Cell phones are not considered a human right that carriers must provide to everybody.
thx god not every one has this attitude ... people were bitching about paying extra for tethering here and NO ONE even argued "but its in the contract BS" and boom, few months later it got changed. just bc something is in a obvs greedy network contract doesnt mean it shouldnt be changed or makes it right.
this "i won't complain cuz i as one can't do anything about it anyway" approach makes me sick

I thought this was the new iPhone HD:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nDd7A4BAYc
Now if that's fake, they did a damn good job. (and have a ton of time on their hands)
On a related note, does anyone know how to embed a YT video in a post?

The 6g? I don't know. Maybe it'll be like a PDA, with iPhone capibilites,and CompactMac OS 1.0 :D
Actually, that would be pretty neat. An iPod/iPhone/PDA? C'mon, you've gotta admit that would be cool!
I really don't care about any video features and such. Hell, add an Intel Core Duo 2 processor, for all I care! Just as long as it still plays music, I'm happy.:)
