,25, who killed his girlfriend, Jana Shearer
, 21, before filleting and cooking parts of her body at his mother's home in the town of Tyler, 110 miles east of Dallas.Police sent to the crime scene found Shearer's mutilated body, with one ear boiling in a pot of water on the stove and a fork sticking from a pile of human flesh on a plate on the kitchen table. Whether McCuin had eaten any of her is unclear yet.
Shearer was abducted from her home on Friday night. Her death appeared to be the beginning of a crime spree — McCuin also allegedly stabbed the boyfriend of his estranged wife and broke into a business. The stabbing victim is in critical condition at an area hospital, officials said.
