Russian President Vladimir Putin named Time's Man of the Year!!!
Time magazine named Russian President Vladimir Putinits Person of the Year. Putin, 55, was named for his force of personality and singular focus on the country's stability, said Richard Stengel, Time magazine's managing editor. Nobel laureate Al Gore, author J.K. Rowling, China's President Hu Jintao and Gen. David Petraeus were also among the top contenders for the honor.
