Queen Elizabeth II becomes the longest living British monarch!!!
Congratulation!!! Queen Elizabeth II, aged 81, has become the longest living British monarch. She overtakes the record set by her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria, who was born on May 24 1819. According to Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II, who was born on April 21 1926, beats her ancestor’s record at around 5pm. This takes into account the time of Victoria’s birth and death, and the time the current Queen was born.
