Vanessa Hudgens To Play Prostitute In New Movie

Vanessa Hudgens is about to shed her squeaky-clean High School Musical image, big-time—and that's not all she'll be shedding!

The 20-year-old actress reveals to Metro that, in her upcoming film Sucker Punch, she'll be playing a prostitute—and to hear her tell it, there's going to be some skin involved.

"I'm playing a character named Blondie and it's set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there's not a whole lot of clothes," Hudgens says.

And that's not the only kind of action to expect from the flick, due to hit theaters in 2011.

"It'll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I've wanted to do an action film for a while," Hudgens gushes. "I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that's the biggest difference."

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has admitted that she uses the paparazzi as an "excuse to dress up".

The 20-year-old actress, who is dating co-star Zac Efron, revealed that she loves to experiment with fashion to keep the photographers who follow her entertained.

"I have some of the clothes that my character Gabriella wears in the movie in my actual closet," she said.

"I'd be like, 'Wow, I have to have that!' I love fashion. Having paparazzi there is almost an excuse to dress up, but if I'm not in the mood I'll just go out in sweats and Ugg boots."

Hudgens is currently the face of Ecko Red.
