The "Twilight" Star was hit on the hip in front of the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street in New York City where he was shooting scenes on Thursday for his new movie "Remember Me."

US Airways Pilot Chesley B. Sullenberger III Is True Hero!!!

He's captain Chesley B. Sullenberger III a.k.a "Sully", 57, the US Airways pilot who saved the lives of 155 passengers by landed his stricken Airbus 320 in New York City's Hudson River. According to DailyMail, the Airbus was brought down by a bird-strike on the both engines a minute into the flight.

The captain - a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot nicknamed 'Sully', of California - was hailed a hero after he managed to steer away from heavily-populated Manhattan before smoothly gliding the powerless jet down intact.

Thanks to God, all passengers on board were not badly injured...

Anthony Winters Killed by Lynn Spears in 1975!!

Britney Spears' mother Lynn Spears (L), 53, has killed a boy in an unavoidable deathly accident in 1975. The 12-year-old boy, Anthony Winters, was accidentally hit by Lynne's car while riding a bicycle in Kentwood, Louisiana.

Her rep said:

“Anthony Winters and his friend were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve she could not avoid the boy in the street as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane.”

A friend of Lynne added:

"She is still haunted by the incident. To this day, Lynne hasn’t gotten over what she did. She gets that terrified look in her eye when she is thinking about it. She has told only a few people about the accident and always says, ‘Please don’t think I’m a bad person."[Source]

BBC children's TV presenter Mark Speight : I didn't kill her

According to Daily Mail, Natasha Collins, 31, may have died from an overdose of cocaine. She was found dead by her husband-to-be Mark Speight, 42, a popular BBC children's TV presenter, in the bath of their £500,000 penthouse flat in St John's Wood, North London.

Speight, known to millions of youngsters for presenting children's art programme SMart, has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs.

Last night former public schoolboy Speight has said he is "absolutely distraught" at the death of his fiancee at their home. Speight's spokesman said: "At the moment, no one knows what happened. Mark found her body in the bathroom and immediately called an ambulance and the police.
