Pardon my ignorance!
My understanding was American companies are setting up shops in India for cheap labor and still provide services for mostly American consumers and not Indians. And for Oracle they can bring any number of Indians here on H1/L1/B1 visas. So what make them pay $120K in India (I assume he is still a software engineer, else he would have been getting more than $120K here!)
My brother chose to leave USA on his own, after working for 6 years, without applying GC. He was getting 120K here in USA. In India, he joined Oracle Corp and his salary is almost same (about Rs.55Lacs). Indian salaries are becoming excellent these days.

I did the fingerprinting on 06/02/07, first and only time. So, it took exactly one month between FP and 485 approval.

i think u need not get a new h1 stamp and can sill come in and out on AP without compromising yr h1 status.
Yes,You should get a multiple-entry AP.If it is one-time entry AP,then you need another AP.Genrally nowadays u get multiple-entry AP.

The letter does not say anything. It just says that your I-485 is denied.

I think QA jobs are relaxing. I don't know about SAP job. And there are only few engineer QA in my company. All other are just with some other bachelor degree. I think company has very hard time finding expert QA and they hire anybody for that job and pay decent salary.

I have a question, this is about my mom's H1 B visa. Her H1B visa is about to expire in one month.(she had a maximum stay for 6 years). But my grandfather had applied for a greencard process for my mom through family based and we are 2 months away from getting the visa numbers. So Is there any way my mom can extend her H1B. She is currently working as a teacher. (There are lot of options for people who applied for Greencard process through employment, but I don't see any for family based greencard process). Any help would be really appreciated.

gk_2000, how far is your place from the towers? did you try Terk HDTVa? you did not get any signal at all? or was it blurry/snowy images?
Others, there is another IPTV provider tv desi and they are also using the same box (Neulion) as Dish Network ..so may be quality would be good....

USCIS receives around 7.5 million applications a year and mistakes happen. Cut them some slack here. Bad luck to OP. Contact USCIS and see what happens and please post here after your issue is resolved. Others will benefit from your experience.
Regardless of the amount of application they receive, they have to provide 'good' service for the amount they charge for each application.
If we assume the per charge of each application is $100.00 or $200.00
7.5miilion X $100.00 = $750 million.
7.5million X $200.00 = $1.5 Billion.
you have a huge receivable account. And it can be run more efficiently and accurately giving good customer satisfaction.
I feel sorry for the person who has posted this thread. Cause he may have made lot of planning to travel, book flight tickets etc...and it all has to change...so, there is also a secondary cost involved if one goes thru this kind of 'errors'.

I already received the RFE , This is what it says :
"On the supplement form to I-693, Adjustment of status applicant's documentation of Immunization you provided, the civil surgeon indicated that you have not obtained the required vaccination. As such, you are ineligible for adjustment of status until you present documentation showing you have received all required vaccination. all records are to be confirmed with documentation. The applicant cannot assert immunization without documentation and the physician subsequently document the lack of documentation requesting a waiver of immunization requirements. some immunization can be waived with just cause. A lack of documentation does not meet waiver requirement"
In I693 supplement form Doctor put Check on "Fully immune" column for Td, MMR and Varicella and also put the dates on when I received the vaccinations.
is there any other vaccination that is required ?
My wife also get the similar RFE , a little different language though

Am I reading this right because this certainly is more than the country limit. Also the total # of visa's given seem to be more than the annual limit. I thought there were some 250k visas that were lost, were the limits higher during these years?
