No, but I think the word 'me' does have negative connotations such as narcissism and self centeredness. That is my beef with it. The last word I want someone to associate with my name is 'me'.
I agree. I wish I could have kept hold of my old mac.com address but alas I was getting so much spam and crap I terminated my account and set up a new one. Have my own domain with webmail and mail forwarding so I don't have to use me.com professionally.

Opera will zoom entire pages, very useful for resizing tiny little thumnail photos or huge images too big for my hpvs17 monitor... if it can be done, why isn't Apple on top of it?

Wow, all the tablet haters here continue to live in the past and nothing will change?
All of these complaints can be rectified:
- A company has already demoed a pressure sensitive iPad stylus, but can't release it due to it using hidden APIs. In other words, it's possible.
- Colour correction is trivial to add. I wouldn't be surprised to see it in a future version of iOS
- No you can't process 30MB RAW files on an iPad 2, but why not an iPad 5?

For people stuck in the past, I would think you'd have notice that the current iPad has specs exceeding Macs of just ten years ago. Funny how there have been people doing professional work with Macs more than ten years ago. Did amnesia set in since then? Are you all too old and your memory is going?
There's nothing described in this thread that I can't see happening with a tablet. Combine this with the fact that lots of people want to work in various places where even a laptop is cumbersome, and it's pretty easy to see that pros will embrace the iPad. It's coming people; accept it or get left behind.

Nice. I wonder if the numbers the Google Voice app generates count as mobile numbers. This is really good for me, as some of my best friends are on Verizon.

i didnt read all the comments, but this is my opinion right here, this white iphone 4 launch makes absolutely no sense unless apple is planning to let it run for at least another 6 to 8 months without announcing any new hardware.
i suppose the new iphone 5 will only come out a lot latter than speculated and probably the supposed better guts will be a iphone 4 s just with better insides.

As others have posted as well, it makes no sense for Apple to invest this much time and money to get the white iPhone 4 out unless the basic design is going to care over to the iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 looks like it will be iOS 5, A5 processor, probably more memory, maybe an NFC chip, all wrapped in the iPhone 4 shell, both in black and white. LTE 4G and a completely new design comes in iPhone 6.

I'd rather pay and get upgrades than have the developer abandon the app because it isn't profitable to do anymore free updates. What should Loren do when everyone that will buy Tweetie already has it? Develop updates out of the goodness of his heart?
The app store has a problem, and that's the amount of crap and cheapness of that crap. It drives the price of everything down. Factor in that ALL upgrades are free and you have a major problem for devs. You can sell an app once to each user, at next to nothing cost, and that's all you get. Yes, initially it's good when you're selling 100K apps a week but what happens when everyone's bought your app? The app store has a sustainability problem, and it will soon rear it's ugly head.
Compare it to desktop software where even the most basic apps cost $10+ and all upgrades are paid.
I'm quite happy to pay Loren �1.79 every 8-12 months for his work on Tweetie because frankly it's amazing and �1.79 is pretty much nothing.
The problem with most whambulance drivers such as yourself is pretty much the same problem with society at large. You only care about yourself and what you can get for yourself regardless if it's at the expense of others. You have no social responsibility. People's inability to look past their own nose and care about others is really quite pathetic. You don't care if Loren gets paid for his work, or for a sustainable app store. I like to listen to podcasts while im playing sc2 and alot of my podcasts are video's. Is there a way in itunes to play only the audio of the video podcasts (so the video isnt running in the background and potentially slowing my game down)?

I changed my plan just now. I had the 900 min plan with a-list + unlimited text + unlimited data.
I downgraded to 450 mins + unlimited text and m2m + unlimited data.
90% of my calls are to other mobile numbers so this works out perfect for me.
I'll end up losing a ton of rollover minutes that I would never had used anyway. Too bad you can't donate them or something.
