Apple shouldn't be able to do anything.
Apple cannot do anything directly against TJ Maxx as long as they make no false claims such as being an approved Apple seller, or stating false claims about the product and warranty. At most, put them on a banned list and make not selling to TJ Maxx part of their "Approved Reseller" conditions.
The people who sold to TJ Maxx could be in trouble, however.
Now, if Apple's warranty includes a line about it must be bought from an approved seller, etc, they might be able null the warranty on anyone who's iPad is found to be from TJ Maxx, but that depends in part on the state, and if the warranty has such a line.

It seems Kobe used to word "******" at a ref. Honestly it seems the "gay community" takes things way out of proportion and needs to relax a little, even if he is a celebrity the gay community needs to chill.
We (the general public) are tightening up the "gay slur" leash a little to tight. I know I use the word ****** or thats gay when I do things, even if I look at a pink motorcycle I'm like that's gay. It has nothing to do with gays in general, so why flip out over it?

Seems like a good reason to open up sales to other carriers. VZ for six months to do what they can then T-Mobile and Sprint to help boost the numbers before iP5.

Not at all - it's a well-established truism that Americans prefer sedans over hatchbacks and wagons, they prefer large, torquey engines (usually V6 or V8), and they prefer lots of car for cheap as opposed to a smaller, higher-quality car.
Though cars are being kept longer these days than in the past, Americans tend to dispose of their cars at a greater rate than, say, in Europe. So it makes sense that cheaper build quality is more viable when the car is not expected to last forever.
Will be interesting to see if VW survives the Americanization of their car line. One of the tings I saw last year was that they are going to make their new cars feel more like what Americans are used to driving. Yes, it had a lot to do with them. Many who are leaving have a legitimate gripe with AT&T and if they want to take their business elsewhere b/c a purely financial decision by AT&T, so be it. Even if the finances may not add up at first. Taking your business elsewhere IS what many want to do.
Of course that is their choice but my point is to leave AT&T because they increased a price to go to some one who has an even more expensive price does not make sense to me at all. Now if there were other issues, sure.

Of course since I don't work there i don't know what all their expenses are. But you can't say just cause the iphone stayed the same price doesn't mean their expenses have gone up. You really don't understand running a business if you think cost of an item is only affected by how much that item cost the business (and that was the proof you gave to me, that the iphone hasn't gone up in price, that AT&T is solely doing this cause they can and not cause they are reflecting their own price increases).
They have to reflect all of their costs in that price to make a profit. And no, they aren't there to be nice to you. Their prices go up, unless they have some reason to believe they'll lose more business than they will make up by price increase, your prices are going to go up. At some point, regardless of if they think they will lose business they will have to increase the price solely cause they'll lose money otherwise. IT seems you think they should only raise prices at this point. Sorry, they are there to make a profit. They will weight what giesv them the most profit. When they give you a price cut, it's not cause they are being nice. It is cause they think that price cut will drum up enough business to eventually make more profit than they would if they didn't do that price cut.
And my point culminates in that while no, I don't have proof this isn't just cause they can (and you definitely don't have proof cause what you said totally doesn't stand up to reason at all and shows no understanding of running a business), I could easily buy that their prices have increased given that there is a lot of inflation going on (I work retail and i see it in our own prices going up at my store as well as when I buy stuff). I'm using Garmin Mobile XT on my Windows mobile phone--it's really really nice.
Using maps on my iPad.... uhhhh.... not so nice :P

Maybe I'm the only one that thinks this, but, while it's a cool demo, I'd probably never use this. The iPad would have to reach at least the amount of control and sensitivity of a Cintiq to make this useful. So it's cool that Adobe is working on it, and maybe with future revs of hardware, the iPad will get to that point (I really hope it does). But it all still seems like finger painting to me until you have control with some sort of drawing utensil. The funny thing is, Steve Jobs - the man who spouts and gushes over creating tools by artists for artists, and - is the one man leading the fight against any sort of stylus for use with the iDevices. While I agree with him on use throughout the iOS interface, all artists are NOT created equal. I've seen fantastic work by some of the guys using their fingers with those paint programs, but I'd say for the majority of artists out there, the real key is going to be getting a stylus that works properly in a drawing or painting app on the iOS.

I too am forced to use Lotus Notes at work. Maybe it hasn't been "implemented properly" in my office, but it is a horrible, awful thing. Even common commands are hidden deep inside nondescript menus and any attempt at customizing anything ends with frustration. I would hope that this bloated piece of software crap stays far, far away from the Mac platform forever.

I have a FlipHD, and it automatically syncs all my movies into iphoto. Does iphoto compress or alter (loss of quality) these videos by merely syncing them?

- Disabled WYSIWYG fonts
- Disabled Spelling and Grammer Check
- Typing in a single page
CPU starts from 30% and stabilises around 90%. This only happens when there are equations on the page, but I'm not typing in the equations - just typing beneath them. The typing is slow and can't keep up with me. Has anyone else found this? Also, I have Word 14.1, Latest so far.

I got a chance to shoot a BMW Z4. I'm having a hard time editing the photos as the black just looks "crushed"? I'm not sure how to explain what I'm trying to say but I critique my photos a lot so basically I think this photo sucks but the owner thinks its good.

I get what you're saying. Deep, dark black, with no metallic flake in it is probably very hard to photograph well. It masks a lot of the subtle lines of the car (which a Z4 has a lot of) that would normally show with lighter, more reflective colors. I like the shot, but I do see what you are bugged with.
