The answer here seems so obvious, how did Apple miss it?
Bring over some of the nice eye candy features from the iPad, like animated calendar pages, but leave the clean professional look alone. I hate using Outlook for calendars and now iCal looks ridiculous and wastes more space than anyone could imagine...what's a man to do?

Will it support playing graphic intensive Windows games? That's the only think Parallels doesn't do for me.

In general you won't want to use any kind of virtualization solution for something processor & video intense like this. You'll want to just use boot camp.

So he attends at university since fall (so since september) and studies Commerce. Yet he thinks this rumor is part of a leaked advertisement and cannot comprehend why it is advertised like that.

It was spam, the spammer used some text to give the post the illusion of making a valid post (this time the text was pretty random) however the post also contained a signature with spam links.

Using my digital calipers the white is .01" thicker, I am using the same case from my black iPhone and it seems to fit just fine. Didn't notice any difference till I heard about it.

Lol ok buddy. Hope your not waiting for there to be a backlit keyboard in the air because I doubt there will be. Apple took it out of the MBA for a reason not for the heck of it
If you're alluding to the theory that Apple took it out to 'differentiate' it from the macbook pro's, I still don't get that concept.
I mean, if you want to differentiate your higher end products from the lower end ones, you ADD features to the higher end one. You DON'T remove features that were once standard for years on the lower end machine.

Well, first of all, when I say iPod, I am including all things music/movies, iTV, etc. To put it very simply, I wish Apple would use more of the innovative spirit that is going into their "entertainment" branch and put it back into their computers.
The computers that are just finishing a CPU conversion, but are still rated as being good buys by non-Mac publications?

I highly doubt anyone at Fox News is crying. Some of the message boards I browse that are predominantly Republican are even tipping their hat to Obama for accomplishing it.

I've currently got a single 1GB stick in a three year old PB - will that be OK to swap into a new MBP?

No, RAM from any PPC Mac won't work in any Intel Mac. Apple use a different type of RAM in their Intel machines and whilst all Intel Macs (aside from the Mac Pro) use the same type of RAM the same isn't true of the old PPC Macs.
Your 1GB stick won't work at all.

Parallels just posted an update on their blog about USB 2 and 3D graphics:

We're still working on both and are still planning on including these in our next version of Parallels Worktation and Parallels Desktop. Beta launch for these products are still slated for around the turn of the year.
