I'm sorry, if you struggle to lose weight, you're not doing it right. Losing weight is dead easy. Keeping it off is dead easy too. Have your doctor check for any health problems which might prevent you from losing weight or recheck your food intake vs energy expenditure.
Losing weight is a very simple formula : Calories in < Calories out. Change the symbol around and you gain weight. Make it = and you keep your weight.
A lot of people don't understand this very simple mecanic which is the very basis of weight control. When you have this part down to a science, you can adjust the food intake to provide fibers/vitamins/proteins that you need.
Under normal circumstances, you're more or less right. However, many supersize people have participated in crash diets, drugs and other questionable regimens over the years in search of quick-fix thinness. Doing so can, after a while, sabotage the body's normal metabolic rate and endocrine output, making it much harder for these people to find the balance in their caloric equation without depriving themselves of needed micronutrients (vitamins, minerals).
Creative positioning + bed with a good bit of "give", e.g. Memory Foam = enjoyment without that "crushing" feeling. This has served me well, and that's the best way I can explain it without going into TMI territory.
This is a great post!!!
Thank you.

Is this for Intel Macs only or will it work on PPC too?
I would have to think this would be for Intel Macs only.
Off topic; YG17, be sure to vote Tuesday!

Hmm...I'm in a market for a new TV and I've been hoping that Apple enters the TV market. I wonder what the chances are that the Apple TV (the existing one) is integrated with the screen?

Nano. Like, obviously.
Seems like everyone forgot about the somewhat recent rumors about a smaller iphone. (Ok, just kidding.)
Maybe apple wants the rumor mill to get up to speed as they want to introduce anything but nobody got a hint or has a clue yet. Total disclosure is bad, but no rumors is even worse.

I just have Macs, in various sizes. All run on Darwin.

Obviously taking everything out of context, when we are dealing with the bleeding obvious there is no reason not to suggest it. I watched the video before reading the comments, so your point has no substance. You must have seen a lot of people having fits to be able to make such a confident judgement. Personally, having only lived with a severe epileptic in the household for nine years, I would unhesitatingly defer to you expertise. What do I know?

..who won't let you legally (http://download.microsoft.com/documents/useterms/Windows%20Vista_Ultimate_English_9d10381d-6fa8-47c7-83b0-c53f722371fa.pdf) install a "Home" version of Vista in a virtual enviroment, forcing you to pay more for the Ultimate version.
What microsoft don't know, won't hurt them.
I very much doubt whether vista could detect its running in a virtual environment.

Holy cow! That's a killer line already. This does not make me optimistic for getting to the Spectrum at 3. Might have to move that up to 2, if I can.

Btw, do Apple usually give free updates to customers who bought the computer a time period (say 2 months) before new OS release?
Yes. Usually from the time the launch day is announced to a month or two after it ships. In the past there has been a $10-20 media charge but if 10.7 ships via the app store I guess it will be free or some nominal amount like $1 to satisfy any accounting rules.

No where on the sites does it mention 64-bit capabilities, unless i'm missing it. Can 64-bit be safely assumed?

Remember once someone sells you something they can not tell you how you can use it. That like you buying a car and in the purchase agreement they tell you your not allow to wreck the car. Grant it, they do not have to warranty it after you wreck it, but if you want to wreck it, that is up to you.
Does it apply to purchased iTMS songs too?  ;)

Check out the release notes here:
http://www.vmware.com/products/beta/fusion/releasenotes_fusion.html
For the squeamish who don't realize they're squeamish (the fearless/masochistic can ignore this):
Note that there's a reason this is a private beta. It's rough still. There are bugs that will freeze your Mac. That requires a hard power-off, and even though we have journaled HFS+, there's still the chance of corrupting the image.
In other words, don't use this unless you really know what you're getting into. Wait for the public beta unless you're experienced with rough software.
Otherwise, it looks like it will put up a good fight against Parallels. That's very useful, as I'd like them to add some of the features VMware has had for years (access to raw HD partitions, for example).

Might get this, might not. Don't do contracts so it would be a simple case of buying and selling. Something most people I know do. You lot (Americans) should start doing the same and stop being beholden to 24 month contracts.
Supposedly it keeps our costs down to sign up for such long term contracts.
My monthly bill is $50 for unlimited texts, unlimited data, some number of minutes (I'm splitting a family bill with AT&T,) plus the $300 upfront for the iPhone itself. What's your bill come to?

I love my Mighty Mouse, and I even bought a second one after I accidently fried one (put one of the interior connections in backwards, doh!) after a deep cleaning session. Too bad it looks like they couldn't figure out how to place the batteries directly under the scroll ball and expose the scroll ball workings a bit more to make it easier to go it with some canned air and a q-tip and degunkify it.
