Ronald McDonald House Fro Big donation

Big donation for Ronald McDonald House

BOISE, Idaho-When families with sick children need a place to stay, the Ronald McDonald house is there for them. Now the Treasure Valley has returned the favor.

Dillard's presented the local charity branch with a check for over seventeen-thousand dollars Friday morning. The money was raised through sales of its Southern Living Ultimate Christmas Cookbook...so if you bought one, you helped.

"It's really the support of the community that made this happen. The Dillards store was the eighteenth in the nation for the number of cookbooks that they sold to benefit the Ronald McDonald House so right here in Boise, Idaho. We're pretty excited about that." says Mindy Plumlee, Executive Director of the Boise Ronald McDonald House.

Local sales of the cook book more than doubled last years sales.
