Vice President Biden plans Indiana trip

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - Vice President Joseph Biden will be visiting an Indiana factory in Greenfield, Ind. on Wednesday.

Biden will speak at Ener1, Inc., a company specializing in manufacturing batteries for hybrid and electric vehicle.

The company was awarded a $118.5 million grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, or stimulus plan, to expand its battery operation.

Biden is expected to speak to workers at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, though it’s unclear whether he’ll make any appearances open to the public.
