Many people can't afford to own two vehicles. Car payments, second registration, second inspection, and maintenance on that second vehicle will likely cost more money than just buying more gas.
I don't want to spend money on more than one computer or maintain more than one.
Definitely true. If you need 1 primary device, I can't imagine the iPad would be it. If you need to write long papers or do lots and lots of productivity work and you need 1 device to do it, it seems obvious that it's not going to be the iPad. What irks me is people writing posts about "well it can't be a primary computing device" and I really just want to say "WELL DUH!!"
The iPad has a HUGE market, but it isn't even going after the "primary computing device" market, so why complain or criticize it for not winning that market?

Interesting thought though. His rejection said it was for ridiculing public figures, but their policy rejects defamatory material. There is certainly a fine line, but the line most certainly exists. You can ridicule someone till the cows come home without engaging in defamation. The distinction is probably too difficult for anyone without extensive legal background to make on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
Apple should just drop the defamation clause, which may be difficult for them to do to.
I'd say Fiore flirts with that line often enough, Pulitzer winner or no. I don't know the legal technicalities, but I would think Apple would do themselves a favor by letting the lawyers figure out what's defamation and what isn't. I can't see how they could be held responsible for someone else's words, but I'm not a lawyer.

In my opinion, I don't think the "iPhone" will have more than 1GB just so that it wouldn't affect the sales of the lower capacity Nanos (the shuffle is an exception because its tiny and has a relatively lower concept).

Sounds a bit redundent given my Samsung TV, Sony Bluray, Humax PVR, XBox 360, Windows PC and my macs (with Twonky installed) already all play nicely together without needing a new standard.
This trend on these forums of people making posts without apparently reading the original post or any other posts in the thread before making a post is getting a little annoying.

Are your APN entries correct, or your carrier file installed?
Settings > General > About - what is the value for "Carrier"?
Might be worth a reset of your network settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
This will also wipe all stored WiFi entries and their passwords and reboot the phone.

Just looking at the ''Server Admin' screenshots posted, i noticed that in the list of Services, both AFP and NFS are missing. Is File Sharing managed somewhere else in Lion?
This seems to be all i can find and its in the server app.

You could get a beta key by pre-ordering the game at Game Stop. Although at this point I would confirm before doing it since the Beta won't be lasting too much longer. When I log in it says something about it expiring June 21st. So maybe they aren't giving keys anymore. If you did it in-store it printed on your receipt. Online they were supposed to e-mail it to you within a day.

Explain how it's adding unpredictability if we're being told what song to buy, to get to No.1? By my definition that's the complete opposite of unpredictable.
If it's "just some fun" then that's a different story...but it's not. It's about people getting all whinny because they think Simon Cowell is taking over the music industry, and leading us like sheep to make his song's No.1. If you don't like the damn XFactor songs then quite rightly don't buy them! Buy what you want to become No.1. But when when people deliberately try and manipulate the results, thinking it will "teach that man a lesson", it becomes less about the music and more about some stupid battle with Simon Cowell!
The song I want to see at No.1 is the song that I like most at that particular time, not the song that I think will give the best metaphorical finger to Mr. Cowell.
Even if lots of people do by either track we do not know who is going to get the most. I would guess its still likely to be the x-factor finalist. Do you know who it will be, are you 100% put your life savings on it certain. If it was only X-factor then it would be certainty isnt it? Because there would only be 1 song in the race.

I traded back SSF IV and got Lego Star Wars. Whilst most reviews have said that the 3D effect was minimal, I think it's actually more impressive in Lego StarWars than in SSFIV.
Also it's not got as many jaggies Sikkinixx :p

Pages and Number are TRASH compared to Word and Excel(especially excel)
Keynote is actually pretty good!
I use MS Office, iWork and even OpenOffice.org. I never said Word and Excel were bad (I think they are great) -- only that I also think Pages and Numbers and Keynote are great too (especially Keynote). Each has their purpose. Pages is fantastic for creating a single page layout from their templates. Numbers does a rocking job of creating fluffy charts and diagrams for you to copy/paste into other things (it also does a nice job letting you categorize by column).
If I am working with a large data set I prefer Excel or OpenOffice.org depending on which makes it easier to crunch the numbers in my desired way. When I am writing a large document (like a technical specification), again I turn to MS Word or OpenOffice.org, since Pages seems to do better at single page layouts and is less robust when working with large documents. I tend to prefer OpenOffice.org when I need to make sure my documents are portable to others who have not chosen to fork over hundreds of dollars to Microsoft.

I didn't say it was wholly genetic, nor do the authors of the book to which I linked. However, to accept without question that we inherit a myriad of traits from our parents (hair color, eye color, height, predisposition to certain diseases, the list goes on) but discount intelligence from that group is foolish in the extreme.
Of course intelligence has a genetic element, and not everyone is equal. However, your intellectual potential may be limited by your genes but you need the correct environment to achieve that potential.
Is it that certain races have a lower intelligence? Or is it that certain races don't get the opportunity to achieve their potential due to their environment?
The problem with IQ tests is they depend on culture and education, they are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. I bet an IQ test of 10 year olds in down-town Bagdad would yield lower results to a test in a the suburbs of a US or European city. Clearly this is an extreme example, but it is hard to get a level playing field to assess intelligence in different people.

Apart from the streaming fail, Garmin are way too late to the party. Even when everyone was criticising TomTom, I went and bought it and it (for me) is the ultimate GPS navigator. Free map and service updates, no streaming involved, full multitasking support, been flawless in its navigation, accurate in its info (time of arrival is almost always spot on) and there's traffic when I want it for longer journeys, albeit not free.
The mapping display also doesn't look like a Scooby Doo 'toon unlike the Garmin app, judging from these screenshots...

Being in a Red State, I have noticed this week that the availability of bottles with caps is getting lower. Also since I use the "tilt" method, I am seeing fewer bottles with winning iTunes, and more with BOGO.
Though to be honest it would seem that it would in Pepsi's best interests to get the bottles in the hands of maybe the top 25 to 50 metro areas. Now that would be an interesting map to see.

Or how about the lack of pictures? This had photo op written all over it, but we the taxpayer only get one picture? I think the number of pictures were limited due to Steve Jobs current condition.
