David Villa's fifth goal of the tournament send Spain into the semi-finals of the World Cup. Both Oscar Cardozo and Xabi Alonso saw penalties saved before David Villa's late goal carried a below-par Spain a narrow 1-0 win over Paraguay in Johannesburg's Ellis Park Stadium. The Euro 2008 champions now face brilliant Germany in semi-final match on next Wednesday.

Brilliant Germany Trashes Argentina: Germany 4-0 Argentina Goal Highlights!!!

Germany trashed Diego Maradona's Argentina 4-0 on Saturday in Cape Town's Green Point Stadium!!! An early Thomas Muller header set the tone, before Arne Friedrich and a brace from Miroslav Klose in the second-half booked their place in the semi-finals.

Ghana Bows Out: Uruguay (4)1-1(2) Ghana Goal Highlights!!!

Two-time World Cup winners Uruguay booked a place in the semi-finals after beating Ghana 4-2 on penalty shootout at Soccer City on Friday. The quater-final match was locked at 1-1 after Uruguay striker Luis Suarez was sent off for a goal-line handball  in the last minute of extra-time but leading scorer Asamoah Gyan missed the resulting penalty.

Wesley Sneijder knocked Brazil out of the 2010 World Cup!!! The Oranje produced a stunning second-half comeback to book their place in the semi-finals as Netherlands beat favourites Brazil 2-1 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday. Brazil were so lucky not to lose by a larger margin.
