I think you are ok. Nobody got I-485 approval in 4 months. So, don't worry. You can apply anytime before your 485 gets approved.

on aug 9, nikon anounced the "D80" http://www.dpreview.com/articles/nikond80/
im thinking about making the jump from my pentax ist ds to nikon... i just started photography and think i sould swich to nikon while i still can. i have a few sd cards and think it would be ether the d50 or d80, would it be wourth spending the extra $200 or $400 on the d80. i like the 10mp, the Multiple-exposures capabilities, 100iso ect.
any thoughts

I am in same situation and had a meeting with my attorney to get more information, according to his experience with all his cases to date, he said there is 70 - 30 ratio, 70% have recieved rfe and 30% got approved without rfe. And after july fiasco he said it's better to wait for rfe and respond rather then ammending 485 application, now that's another question that my attorney will easily make it to top 10 list of all time worst attorneys. So I am looking for second opinion too.
My wife and I did our medicals last July and applied for our I485. However, my wife was pregnant so the doctor decided to not do x-rays and some vaccinations and inform USCIS it should be done after the pregnancy.
Now after we had the baby, do we have to wait for an RFE to come asking us for the missing part of the medical? Or can we be proactive and go complete the medicals and send it to USCIS?
Our PD and RD are close to becoming current, so we may benefit if the second scenario is possible.

Hi Everyone,
My 7th year H1 is schedule to expire on 12/02/06. As my current employer has filed for labor cert. (PEBC) for more than 365 days, I will be eligible to file for extension after 06/02/06 (6 months before current H1 extension expires).
Now my question is:
If I want to change the Job and new employer is willing to transfer the H1, would I be able to file for H1 transfer and 8th year extension with the new employer after 06/02/06. In another word extension upto 12/02/07.
I did a paid consultation with Murthy Law firm and the Attorney told me I will be eligible for 1 year extension, he did not explained that clearly.
Has anybody in this forum experienced the same situation?

Cake - that is by design. Place the contents of your grid inside a ViewBox control (WPF only I believe). Once you have done that, you will see the contents of your grid scale as its height gets altered.

Dear friends
Finally my EB-2 Sch-A Cat.II I-140 got approved on Oct-30. I got five emails today.
I submitted my I-140 as regular and then upgraded to Premium a week before on Oct-25.
thanks to all of you on this important forums who helped me lot in the process.
Now I will be enjoying ride of Retrogession Starting from Nov-1 in Sch-A cases.
Will Keep posted about I-485 as it develops.

you can also put links on an image in dreamweaver with image maps.
it's very easy. Just bring the image (or images if you have cut it up) into dreamweaver. Click on the image and in your Properties Pannel you will notice a bunch of options for drawing. Choose the square or the circle or whatever shape you want to make and just draw ontop of your image. This will be an active Hyperlink and will not ad and colours or outlines to your pic.

We had to go through the same situation. If you have registered for online notifications then you will get an email about the RFE. The actual letter reaches the lawyer around 7 days after the RFE was generated. So you have enough time to complete the medical tests once you get the RFE email and then submit the response immediately when you get the letter.
The only thing is that USCIS sends back the original medical form along with the letter and asks the doctor to update that form.

Anyone willing to join the lawsuit should be willing to join by giving full information about themselves and about their application. Yesterday core members asked this question on a thread and only one person out of thousands of people who visited the site said they are interested. Let us see who all are truely willing to join this lawsuit? It is very easy to annonymously post such messages, but when people cannot even give their corect email id , name and phone number in their profile I highly doubt a lawsuit will be possible.

I applied for the I-485 with a notice date of July 3, 2007 (application mailed in June) and paid $180 for the EAD that has a notice date of 07 November 2007 (was not filed concurrently). Do I have to pay the $340 fees to renew it? I went through the instructions and they are confusing as they say I don't need to pay the fees if I file I-485 before July 30, 2007. At another place they say no fees if filed under the fee structure IMPLEMENTED on July 30, 2007. I went through the electronic filing and they don't even ask for the date of I-485 filing, just charge you the $340. Any advice?

Same here: Filed AP on August 1st and got the receipt on the 25th, but have yet to receive the I-485/EAD receipts, which were filed on July 6. What can we do?

Then in 3) you say "They approve Faster in a month" - Which does not make sense if you don't file right?

oh! what a luck. I have not come across anyone who has this situation. My guess is that you should have no problem for 1 year extensions but you cannot get 3 year extensions because 3 year extensions are only for people who cannot file for i485 because of retrogression and you do not meet that criteria and According to Yates memo you are eligible for 1 year extension.
