I have only 2 options:
1) Take the Company B offer and Remain on the Bench for Company A at the same time for certain period to get the I140 copy. - Can I do this because I will be getting pay from New Employer (EAD) and old Employer (H1B) - Does this trigger any issue in future - Is this over lap (15 days) is OK
2) Do not take the Company B offer (but this is very good offer)
The question is: is a copy of I140 is that important to use AC21 . From the posts on IV forums I got the impression is you dont even need a copy of I140. The important thing is to apply for change of attorneys immediately after changing the job. If you get any RFE - you will get on the employment verification - then you need to show you have a job that is same/similar as the one in labor certification. If you know the job description (generally most employers attorneys share this info to make sure that you have relevant experience) then make sure your new job is same or atleast mostly similar.
In your two options you mentioned using EAD for one job and H1b for another. I read somewhere that this cannot be done (I dont have the link but I think this is from Murthy chat). Once you use EAD your satus will change to 485 waiter with EAD - seems like you can change back to H1b - but having two statuses at the same time is not possible. This is my understanding based on forum reading (not a lawyer).

Asylum is lot more easier. In fact citizens of Cuba just have to show up in US and they get GC. GC is infact easier for people from China as there is always an option to file for Asylum given the communist govt.
In this case, though Obama said that course of law will follw. But ofcourse USCIS wont
pursue the case agressively and give up ("throw the match") and not go for appeals etc.
Some people are only too powerful and influential that others

Has anyone managed to withdraw money from TCS PF from Mumbai India?

No forms would work because like a typical family owned blood sucker company, their PF is controlled by another TATA company and not the central govt. AND to get your hard earned money out of that another company, you need a clearance letter signed by some TCS HR personnel ..
You could see if the amount is worth going through the agony of talking to all BS..ing top brass in the company.. If it is, then make your heart of steel and go through it..
they would keep some money as their tip.. (maybe 20%) but give the remaining back to you..

All that matters for the french is your stamping, if your passport stamping is valid(even if you are not on that visa anymore), you dont need. If your stamping expired, you need a transit visa, and you need to go in person for the french transit visa, which is not needed for german and british transit visa.

Hi my father lost his passport at the airport today and with it his I94 and US B1 visa. We do have scanned copies of his US Visa and Passport. I would appreciate any pointers on the following question -
1. What are my next steps?

I filed for AOS on 07/2007, stopped using my current H1-B on 07/2008 (valid thru 07/2009). I am EB3-India PD 03/2005.
My question is if I can apply for a new H1-B thru a new company in the US now, instead of a transfer? I have a valid reason for doing that. Do let me know.

The reason I ask is, someone sent me this from the NAFSA Adviser's Manual (2006 release) (check the last point) -
7.27.2.1 Exception for travel to Canada or Mexico for 30 days or less
Under the "automatic extension of validity at ports-of-entry" provision, an H-IB alien may reenter the U.S. after a trip solely to Canada or Mexico that lasted no more than 30 days, without the need to obtain a new H-IB visa, even if the individual's prior H-IB visa has expired.

Hi,
I am going to file for I-485 as the PD is current for all till 17-Aug-2007. I got my LC was approved in Oct-2006 and I-140 in Feb-2007. I am working on H1B visa and my current H1B visa is expiring on 03-Jan-2008 (about 5 months left from now).
So can I apply for I-485 with less than 6 months left in my H1B? Although I still have 2 years left in my 6 year's counter.
Also if I apply for I-485 now without filing for H1B exension can I file for H1B extension later on say (in Sep. 2007)?
